Yeah, you read the title right.  I’ve found out lately that real success in this Business (and by that I mean having a 5 or 6 figure income per month) is NOT about skills ONLY.  You see, according to statistics, 97% of Networkers out there FAIL in this Industry.  Zero. Nada. They just don’t make the cut and end up quitting too soon to realize something.  Keep reading.

Now, copywriting, pay per click marketing or social media approaches are the way you’ll find your customers and team members but WITHOUT one secret and critical ingredient they are WORTHLESS. What secret ingredient am I talking about? Well, you’ve probably heard of it before but here it goes anyway: MINDSET.

You see, there is nothing more powerful for any winner in life to have certain mindset and by that I mean a WINNING MINDSET.  All my life I’ve been fascinated by action heroes, athletes and successful entrepreneurs and now I understand that what makes them different(and attractive) in life is how they think and consequently act towards their DREAMS.

This is probably the reason why most people fail in life…and in Network Marketing.

So, do yourself a HUGE favor and ask yourself what kind of mindset you have: Do you quit when you struggle with your Business?

By having the right mindset you’ll get the skills along the way. This game called Network Marketing is 90% Mindset and 10% Skills Set. The sooner you understand and apply it, the sooner you’ll become a 3% Networker.

Article Marketing “Dos” and “Don’ts”

Article Marketing happens to be one of the most “proven to work if done properly” methods of driving traffic to your website, blog or sales page.

Being what it is, Article Marketing became very popular amongst internet marketers and everyone seems to be doing it. However, one thing that most do not realize is that just as video marketing, social media marketing and pay per click marketing – article marketing will bite back if you don’t do it right.

In order to really rip the benefits of Article Marketing you need to know the “Dos” and “Don’ts” of the whole process. I have prepared a short, easy to follow checklist which you can use the next time you sit down to create another 300-550 word masterpiece:

1. Are you writing for the search engines? If so, better to focus on the quantity rather than on quality of your articles. That way you will grab more search engine juice flow.

2. Are you writing for the readers? If that’s the case, than you need to focus on the quality of your articles. If you wish to grow a subscriber’s base to your articles/blog than quality is crucial.

3. Grammar. One thing that a lot of internet marketers overlook is punctuation and grammar. People tend to use day to day language in their articles and sometimes it seems to be entertaining. However, the article directories aren’t crazy about it and it is best to stick with the old school English.

4. Author’s Bio Box. This is the most crucial part of your article from marketing perspective. Make sure to include a strong call to action in each and every one of your author bio boxes. The whole point of article marketing is driving traffic and the only way you can do that with an article is by including your link in the bio box, which is actually useless if no one clicks on it.

5. Article Directories Submission. This is actually quite a dilemma for a lot of internet marketers. Spend time submitting to a lot of directories by hand, use a software or to submit only to GoArticles, EzineArticles and ArticleCity? I have found the perfect solution to this problem and it is the Automatic Article Submitter, the software I have been using for the past 2 month to practically skyrocket my article marketing traffic.

In conclusion I want to remind you to always proof read your articles before submitting them. It is really frustrating when your approval is delayed by 3 days because of a spelling error or an incorrect sentence structure…

Most newbie marketers make the same mistakes that leave them feeling “beat up” by the system. It takes more than a good keyword to get a solid rate of return on your clicks. Here are 3 quick tips for the beginning Internet Marketer:

1. Don’t Throw Mud At The Wall

Do your research on your keywords first. The last thing you want to do is set up hundreds of keywords hoping you’ll get some clicks which lead to sales. Remember that each time someone clicks on your ad, that is money out of your pocket so choose wisely. There are many ways to research effective keywords. Use a free keyword tool such as Wordtracker that will show you which keywords have the most amount of traffic. Do your research directly in Google and act as if you are the prospect. Your goal is to put yourself in the mind of the buyer and figure out what they are searching for and what stage of the buying process they are in. This way, you can target your audience accordingly with laser-focused keywords instead of going in “blind-eyed” hoping to get someone to bite.

2. Make It All Flow

Google is a system. The more intertwined all of your marketing parts are, the better your results will be. Make sure your ad copy and landing page (website) is an accurate reflection of your keywords. Google is all about relevancy. You’ll want your ad copy to have the keywords included directly in the ads and your landing page be relevant to your specific keywords. Separate your campaigns to reflect each target audience to be more organized.

3. Don’t Pay The “Stupid Tax”

Most newbie internet marketers using pay per click (PPC) make the dreadful mistake of simply increasing their keyword bids to get higher on the results page. It’s no mystery as to why so many new marketers go broke very quickly. Pay per click (PPC) marketing is a science, but it’s also an art form. You’ll need to consistently analyze your efforts and pay close attention to your numbers. An easy way to constantly improve your efforts is to separate your goals into 3 distinct parts: Number of Impressions, Number of Clicks, and Number of Conversions. If you are struggling to fine tune your campaigns, work them in that order. Start with tweaking your best performing keywords to increase your impressions. More impressions simply mean more traffic. Once you have a good amount of impressions, you can now work on the amount of clicks you get. To increase your clicks, tweak your ad copy to be more relevant and/or more appealing to your target audience. Now that you have an increased flow of impressions and clicks, focus on your landing page. Does it deliver what your ad copy is promising? Make sure the landing page provides what the customer was looking for when he/she clicked on your ad.

Pay Per Click (PPC) marketing can get expensive very fast. Google, Yahoo and MSN will gladly eat away at your marketing funds if not given the appropriate respect. Don’t jump into it unless you know what you are doing. If you are just learning, start small and test until you see some initial results. Once you have a small campaign running effectively, then you can begin to expand them out.

5 Top Marketing Strategies That Recruit New Prospects Effortlessly

Social Media Sites – Sites like MySpace, FaceBook and Twitter offer a great way to connect with millions of people online and allow you to build relationships and network with like minded individuals. Again this is a free form of marketing that everybody should be using if you are not you are leaving money on the table as there are hundreds of people generating quality leads every day through these sites.

4. Video Marketing – This has to be one of the simplest yet most effective ways to generate highly targeted leads for your business, this is all about branding you and positioning you as a leader in the eyes of your prospects and to have them chasing you for a change. All you need to do is make a short 2 – 5 minute video which can easily be uploaded to sites like You Tube and have your face and business in front of tens of thousands of people within minutes.

5. Forum Posting – Another very simple yet effective strategy that everyone should have in their arsenal, I would recommend spending an hour or two a few nights a week posting on forums as this can bring you highly targeted traffic…. again don’t expect to see results straight away like most of the free marketing techniques and strategies they take a bit more time and dedication but if used correctly and your posts are of value you should expect to see people seeking you out for advice and guidance and inevitably more people will want to join you in business because you offer value.
